Upcoming Events - how are they populated
In Admin CP - Edit Announcement, I have checked For: Both
Forum Display on: Both
but I see them nowhere..

    upcoming events are created using the Calendar application. Once you add an event in a calendar you created, it will show up in the upcoming events section if the event is scheduled to take place within x days.
