I'll manage. And if not, I surely can ask icedog, and of course, a reasonable fee is no problem.

Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (cmpenney)

If it's your first time and you haven't done much moding of the software it can be a bit frustrating. I've got too much on my plate right now or I'd help you out. If you are willing to through a bit of cash at the problem you could try IceDog. He's the man when it comes to themes here but he will probably want a little compensation for his time.

Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (ErEf)

Well I spend a few hours finding out what to do where to modify the new themes. It's just to confusing for me, to find out what file to open to change this.. and then open an other file to change that. I am a bit discouraged.

Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (cmpenney)

Initially it doesn't look much different than some of the other themes but the user information on the right instead of the left in the message display is going to be a bit more work to figure out. It would probably take a couple days for someone to do it I would guess.
Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (ErEf)

sry, have been busy at work installing new mailserver :)

http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/proglass

I think this is a very nice theme.
Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (cmpenney)

Depends on the theme. Some take a good day to convert, Others can take a couple days. There is quite a range in the way themes are applied in phpBB.

Was there a specific one that you wanted to have converted?

Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (ErEf)

how much time does it take to convert a phpbb theme to asppgd?

Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (cmpenney)

Thanks.. I'm finishing up a sitewide theme intregration tool and then I plan to start on the Submerged one next.

Sweet. I know a person who also was working on an Aero Green theme. Seems to be the more popular choice, lol. Good luck on the Submerged. Keep us updated.
Re:More Documentation on how to create themes (Guest)

FreddyD

to be frank with you IceDog, yours does look better than the original!! I am unable to see the Post buttons though on your site.

By the way, did you notice that in the Aero package Samuel posted, he simply name the png files with .gif extension? It is a strange workaround to me but it flat out works! Browsers still manage to know what type of images they really are.

I haven't downloaded it. He could have just cut out the small bits of transparent material. I didn't do it because I felt it lost some of the glassy feel when I tried it. I didn't know that simply renaming the extension would work. Awesome.

Thanks for the compliment! Actually, I made the 'Post'/'RSS'/'Thread Options' buttons transparent and their children have the same background as the children on the navbar. I guess I have to work on it some more.
