Hi Brandon,

Yes, you can do so by using our free Role Provider (available after purchase) in your page. Once the user is in the forum database

either registered directly on the forum, or
visited the forum at least once while logged in on your site (SSO scenario)

you can then add the user to any user group by using our role provider.

The membership provider integration does not bulk import your members into our database. Users are imported on the fly -> when they first visit the forum (pt. 2 above).

Hi.

Great software. We're testing the system now with our membership provider have have achieved SSO with it. Great! I have questions about assigning users to the admin groups or moderator group. I can't search for the user in your forums permission page. Is there a way for me to set user permissions with a custom membership provider?
