ANSI and Unicode -> Unicode supports storage of all languages in the world while the ANSI version can only support languages of the same code page. Unicode version is highly recommended

I know some of these questions might be stupid or be answered already but I just want to confirm a few things and make sure I understand:

Q: What's the difference between ANSI and Unicode?
Q: I am developing a site in VB.net and I would like to create a variation of this forum for a different business idea that I have. Can I do this? Can I use components of this forum in different area's of my site such as FAQ help section, etc?
Q: I read that this forum offers multi-lingual support, does that mean that when I set my preferences to Dutch or another language that the forum support that any post is translated for me automatically?
