(Guest)

 Samuel,

Thank you for your reply to my last question.

Can I confirm then that if I was to have a site such as yours (http://www.aspplayground.net/forum/default.asp) where there were multiple forums under the one site address and we where using this internally to discuss things happening in our business we would only need one commercial licence.

Sorry to just get confirmation.

Thanks,

Tyrone

RE: What is a licence? (Samuel)

License: license is per site: http://www.aspplayground.net/agreement.asp , so you don't have to pay extra for each new registrant nor do you have to for increased traffic.

Non-profit status:

* In order to purchase our discounted version of the software (USD 237), your site/organization has to fall into one of the two categories below:

1. Personal website or personal hobby site with no E-commerce involved, for example: http://www.thesouthtown.com.

2. Educational Institute. For example: http://www.mcgill.ca/

If you are using the forum to assist your business in any way (sales support, e.g.), you need to purchase the commercial license, even if you do not charge your members for using the forum.

If you are using the software on a company intranet, you will have to purchase the commercial license.

Thanks!

What is a licence? (Guest)

 Hello,

Being a bit new to all of this I do have a slight hole in my brain where I am trying to work out what you are buying when you are buying a licence (sorry if this is explained somewhere on the web site). So:

Is it for concurrent users; or
Is it per user.

Also what is classed as a non-profit site. I know there is mention to send a link to the site and you will evaluate if it is non-profit, but as we would be using this on the internal site it is not possible to send a link to you that would work outside of our intranet.

Thanks for any help,

Tyrone
