Problem with internet Explorer 8

Just wanted to make you guys aware that in Advanced Edition 2.4.5 Unicode, version of the software, when you go to edit a post, the text does not appear.  This happens in vista 32 and vista 64 version of internet explorer and not in the windows xp version of internet explorer 8
 
Essentially, when you edit your post in the forums, no text from the previous posting appears in the text box.  Is there a solution or fix for this?  It does not happen in IE7 versions.

For IE 8 issues for the previous version, you can follow the workaround we posted here.

We will have full IE 8 compatibility for our newest version of software, which is version 3.

Those workarounds don't address the text edit problem unless I am missing something. 

The workaround will force IE 8 to render page exactly like IE7.

This looks to be for ASP.NET, is there a work around for Classic ASP?

For the ASP version, you will need to add the header directly to IIS. See the end of the post for details.

Any problems deleting search history ?
