Email reply notification does not work

I've a problem with one of your forums. The users are getting new post email notifications, but are not getting reply notifications when someone posts into subscribed threads (dispite having set those options in their profiles). This is rendering the board a little unusable to some subscribers. Can you suggest what might be wrong? It sounds like a simple configuration problem, but not sure what.

Hi, first thing to check is if you have modified the software, make sure it is done correctly. Also, please post this support issue to the support forum in the future.
