Version 2 status

Dear Members,

Version 2 is near completion. Extensive works have been done to incorporate all of the useful features and performance enhancements our clients suggested after version 1.99.24 SP5. All the features are designed to take advantage of SQL 2000 to provide extensive forum configuration and superior performance.

Detailed feature list is here (updated 2003-06-02).
It is a raw list without any fancy formatting (very long by the way).

Pricing:

Version 2.0 (ASPPlayground.NET Advanced Edition) will be priced at 297 USD, and all users using version 1.X (ASPPlayground.NET Classic Edition) can upgrade by paying the difference (100 USD, for both personal and commercial license users) when it is released.

Version 1.X (ASPPlayground.NET Classic Edition) will continue to be supported and available for purchase.

    A clarification, please... The v2.x " Classic ASP" -based version will require a $100 upgrade fee?

    Yes, 2.X (.NET or not) will require a 100 upgrade fee.
