We have extensive management features for Admins and Moderators. You can have
as many admins and moderators as you want, and have them monitor your forum usage for you. We support
group based moderator assignment that can effectively shorten the time you need to set up moderators for all your forums.
In addition, ASPPlayground.NET gives you complete control over "who can do what" in your forum, as we support complete user group based policy for managing your users permissions on each forum. You can create unlimited number of groups (3 types- public/private/hidden),
assign different permissions to different groups for each forum, and add unlimited users to a group.
Some group based permissions you can set for each forum:
- General Permission: Post & Reply/Post-only/Reply-Only/Read-only/List/No Access
- Can create polls?
- Can vote in polls?
- Can rate messages?
- Can upload attachments? Attachment Size and Extension restriction can also be configured for each user group.
Our forum also allows you to add
a member to multiple groups, and we deal with possible permission conflicts automaticaly.
In addition,
your members can easily apply to join any user group that is enabled for membership application. You can assign a
Group Manager for each group to take care of the approving process. An
automatic welcome message can also be set up to notify members about their approvals, and certainly, disapproval reasons can also be sent.
