downloading private messages

Is this a good suggestion so people can download their PM's in text, csv or even xml?

Of like in topics a printable version..

Are you saying that you want to batch download PMs for offline viewing?

if someones pm box is getting vul but still has valuable information it makes sense he can download it for off line use, so that the will be able to continue to receive messages

What a great idea ? Forum topics is a part of site copyrights cause of need to make advertisements to continue meet people in a same platform. But PM's are members personal property so he/she could be able to download it.

I know many users do their pm archives for later viewing most others couldn't even think about archiving. But it's hassle to do all by self some standard format coming from forum code would be useful.

Maybe you can add a notice page after if some user want to delete a pm from his boxes about do you want to save before deleting. Another notification could be great if one user closes to pm limit for "you should think about saving your pm's before we delete them"

Is this something that is being considered? I think it would be a fantastic mod!
