I found aspplayground.net through dealcatcher.com. I was wondering how they manage to configure discussion threads as comments after each "deal". Are they using some other application on top of aspplayground's forum? Thanks, Adrian

I believe they just post the deal on the forum at the same time or after the deal was posted on their site, and add a link to the post in the forum software in the deal on the default page. So no, I don't think they use anything else on top of the forum software for this feature you inquire.

We are using same kind of feature for our news. I don't know dealcather but we are using custom script integrated to our news posting and managing scripts. So you can do some kind of scripts too. For inter compatibility we are posting html to forum and news editors group has access to html privilege. So it is very easy. Also we made a mirror topic feature for getting more comments. While posting topic we are choosing in which else forum will be displayed. So when we post a overclocking news, new topic will be displayed in overclocking section besides "News Forum".
