automated subscription

I was wondering is their any way to set up an automated subscription through paypal or something compareable or is this not allowed
i would like to charge a small fee to keep the spamers and low lifes out

Hi Brett,

You can disable forum registration and then set up your own registration method (to integrate to your site) and import the user into our forum during the registration process. Then assign no access to " guest" in all your forums.

thank' s i sort of figured that i was wondering if ya' ll already might have something in the works for this i am thinking about buying someones forum but no one has this pay for subscription in their program i really am impressed with the speed this forum loads how many online users can it support at one time also how much bandwidth is needed to support 1000 members i have the clientel to support that many members starting off .Also is this the wrong place to be asking questions or should i e-mail ya' ll .

Don' t worry, once your session times out you will be logged out automatically

In terms of concurrent users, I have seen one of our clients that had 900+ concurrent users and runs without any problem (no change in performance)

How much bandwidth => this really depends on how you code your header and footer HTML + how busy your forum is. I will say 3GB is much more than enough for 1000 members.

You can hire us to do the specific customization (pay subscription) if you want.

The session timeout is configurable in the admin section for a time you choose.
The default is normally 20 minutes.
