- Windows 2000/2003 Server with IIS 5/6 ;
- MDAC/ADO 2.6+, although 2.7+ is highly recommended (free download);
- OLEDB provider (ODBC or DSN NOT supported since Microsoft plans to remove the ODBC driver from future release of ADO. See here);
- VBScript 5.5+ (free download);
- ASP's Session and Application variables not required
- Photo Gallery and auto thumbnailer requires the .NET runtime (free download).
- E-mail components (you only need one):
- Windows 2000: CDONTS or CDOSYS
- Windows 2003: CDOSYS
- AND Various commercial components
- ASPMail
- ASPQMail (message queuing)
- JMail (version 3 & 4)
- ASPEMail
- SoftArtisans SMTPMail
- IUSR (Internet Guest) Modify permission required for upload for only one sub folder.
- Database software:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Express w/ Advanced Services (free; see this link for more info; download) / Workgroup / Standard / Enterprise edition without Case Sensitivity (default).
- Stored Procedure execute permission required.
- We do not support the following database platforms:
- Microsoft SQL Server 7.0
- MySQL
- Oracle
- Microsoft Access
- Anything that is not MS SQL 2000/2005
Special Note:
We do not require any cumbersome DLL's to be installed on the server in order for the software to run.
Due to the design of our software, we are compatible with even the cheapest shared hosting packages on the Net. Our software has been successfully installed on hosting packages ranging from as low as $8.95/mo to $199/mo. Of course, Dedicated Servers are supported as well.
