if you don' t mind, show me the exact error message, including the name of the file that produced the error as well as line number.

Or, you can show me your link so I can take a look myself

You also have to make sure the size restriction you set in the forum is higher than 43 KB.

It is also possible that the uploaded image' s dimensions exceed the maximal allowed value. This message provides information regarding the image dimension checking feature available in our forum:

After further testing, I found that it is only in the Profile Settings where I can not upload the picture.

I was able to upload the same file from within a Post.

This is exactly what I referred to in the message above (image dimension). I also replied your e-mail with explanation and solution an hour ago.

Basically, the error message tells you that the image you try to upload is too big in terms of dimension.

I guess I have to be a member then to get the solution.

Is this real? I purchased the product. What else is required?

Also, as fas as the image size, if I point to the same image via a URL it works fine.

    1. As I also wrote in the e-mail I sent you, please refer to this message:
    http://www.aspplayground.net/forum/tm.asp?m=376589 (software registration)

    2. If you refer that image via URL, there is no way we can check the dimension. We only check image dimension when it is uploaded.

This solution, along with software registration procedure, was sent to you via e-mail 1 hour ago. If you did not get the e-mail, let me know.

Admin control panel help file for " basic configuration" :
    • Name Field Width
      • This is the width in pixel of the member info column in the message page (tm.asp; m.asp).
      • This value - 5 is the dimension limit of user uploaded avatars (both width and height).
      • (This value - 5) * 2 is the dimension limit of user profile photo (both width and height).
