UBB - conversion

Is there anything in place to convert data from UBB to ASP Playground .NET? I' m desperately looking to move to an ASP/SQL solution over the perl/flat file UBB, but I have a ton of information I want to move over. Thanks in advance!

Dear Blackhat, Thanks for your interests. However, currently we do not have the conversion script for UBB. If it is the user info you want to convert to ASPPlayground.NET, we have that specific feature built-in in our admin panel. UBB is very different from our software in that we not only support UBB style discussion, but also threaded style like UBB thread but in a more robust form. One of our members switched from UBB thread but we do not know for sure what they used to convert information over. Thanks again for your interests.

Well, the user data is already in a SQL database, so I' m not too worried about that. As for the posts themselves... although stored in .cgi files, the information is pretty organized... I ought to be able to just write a script to do that myself. Thanks for your help.

I once wrote a conversion for ubb > snitz that you can get from here : www.outfront.net/spooky/toolz/Spooky_UBB_import.zip Obviously its not what you need, but if you are familiar with asp you may be able to use it as it demostrates what I did to tranfer thousands of cgi files to database. There is a conversion from snitz to aspplayground too, so its possible you could do both steps.
