Too big for our britches

Our forum is growing by leaps and bounds daily. I' m afraid what' s going to happen when we reach capacity, and have now gotten to the point that i' m afraid to register new members.

I' m running constant defrags to try and keep the situation under control, but about how may members can the personal version handle? I' m almost to 500 registration, and only a few are inactive (and will be pruned out shortly if they don' t log back in). but I' m getting about 30 more requests per day.

You don' t have to worry about the capacity at all. I am glad that your forum is growing so fast everyday, and I want you to know that for the forseeable future, our software will just grow with your site.

So we won' t explode when we hit the 51K in the db?

Also - what takes up the most space? member information, number of forum sections, number of threads, or all the graphics that somehow get stuck inside posts?

1: db space -> number of posts
2: disk space -> graphics of course

You need to monitor your database usage as you ISP will shut down your forum once you exceeds the alloted space for your database. Ask them to shrink the database for you once in a while.
