Support and version level Sun. Apr 28, '02 10:32 PM (permalink)

Just checking.....
The support for commercial license is 30 days, then support is indefinite via this forum, or another private forum?

The version upgrade ends at 1.9 and then the .net version will be used?
What is the expected release date of .net ?

The license entitles 30 day e-mail support and unlimited forum support. But, if you really need e-mail support, we are always here. Some users still preferred e-mail support and we still answered them all (some has used our forum for almost 2 months)

And yes, the update is free up to 1.99 of our software. The expected release date of our .NET software is sometime at the end of this summer.

    Thank you for your inquiry

Is there an expected pricing for upgrading users?

the upgrade price will be the difference between the 2 versions. We don' t have the price set for .NET version yet (still a bit too early to set the price), but it won' t be too far away from our current pricing structure (like you won' t have to pay another 197 for sure).

        Thank you.

In another message he said it would probably be $100 - the difference between the commercial ASP version and the .NET version

are you going to use user control for your .NET version? or .NET component?

What is the language you gonna use? I want VB.NET, not C# nor JScript.NET

Yes, it will be around that price. $100 dollars will be quite fair, I suppose?

We are going to use .NET component as well as user control for .NET version. We have a prototype already (as some of you have already known), and it is written in VB.NET

                    , I am sorry..

We are in North America, so " Summer" usually means June - August.

                      Hi Samuel,

I am very interested in using a .NET version of ASP Playground for our company support forums. We are in need of a user friendly .NET forum so we can share session information, etc. Could you show me the prototype version or privately email me so we can discuss details? My email address is:

                      mmodaressi@radix.net

                      Thanks,

                      Mark
