Can the moderator subscribe a group to the forums or is the subscription has to be done by the user. Is there any way that admin can subscribe the users to different forums. We need this to start the forums. Once the users get used to the forums then we can do away but this is needed initially.

subscription in this version will have to be done by the user, but as an admin you can impersonate a person's account and manage his subscription and subscribe to forums on his behalf.

can a Admin or Mod subscribe to a specific member so as to follow this member's activities on the forums?

Hi, Thanks for your message. And no, we currently don't have the ability to subscribe to a person in the forum for activity updates. It is planned in a future update though.
