I am in the process of figuring out the most logical / viable way to market the next version. Here are my thoughts:
The social aspect for the Internet has changed so much and the online community market really demands much more than a traditional forum software can offer. Even though I know from a forum software's perspective, we are as feature complete as anybody at the moment.
It now takes a lot more than just a forum to build an engaging online community. And it take a lot more than simply using social networks too. Facebook, Twitter or Google+ in and of themselves are not the solution for the future either. There is too much uncertainty involved (fan pages taken down for no apparent reason etc.) and these networks are too time consuming for anybody to build a sustainable community with.
I am working with an expert in the field and we have an idea to transform the software to a platform that can help build online community in a more comprehensive manner.
The coding for the forum is basically done, but the packaging is not. So no, I have to postpone the release yet again until I have a concrete idea how to move forward in a manner that can really benefit my clients.
Sorry for the wait and the delay again.
