Something funny going on with rankings
Tue. Jul 23, '02 6:52 PM
( permalink)
It seems like our rankings are not working right. For example, we have one user with 162 posts that is showing up as a five star member. But we set in our rankings that a user must have at least 210 posts to be 5 star. It seems like the ones showing up at 4 star are also actually only supposed to be qualifying for 3 star ranking. Whats going on here? www.ourlaughingplace.com/aspplay Host is Maximum ASP Thanks, Alan

Dear Ahnalira, Nope, it is not a bug. The post limit is the upper limit of the specific rank, not the lower limit . (I explained this in the admin panel) So if your member has more than 210 posts, he will receive rank # 6, not #5. Please see our help file for more information (available in admin panel under each configuration category) thanks

ORIGINAL: Abelius And also: for some extra money, do you do the installation of the forum, so I don' t need to do it? Yes, we do free installation for new commercial license users (before July 30th). Installation is just plain too easy. With a few clicks, copy&paste' s and you are ready to go . If you get a copy before July 30th I will install the forum for you on August 3rd. Thank you
