I am concerned if this software will allow each user the ability to choose whether or not they want to view other users signatures. This is in referance to signatures slow down the page load time for dialup users,  Thus giving the dialup user the option to disable everyones signature. Or is there a easier way around this?

These are the options you can select in your profile to save speed:

Speed Options
Don't Show Smiley Faces in posts
Don't Show Image in posts
Don't Show member's Avatar in posts

A signature is really part of a post, so I'm not certain if you can toggle that off - Samuel will have to answer that when he gets back.

Most forums do have the standard speed options, thats why its been a little challanging to find something that disables signatures.

I am sorry but we don't have the option to disable signatures from the profile. However, signatures are just text -> they can't be that big as we only allow 255 chars. By just disabling the image / member avatars using our speed options, you save much more bandwidth.

Can signatures be images if a certain forum code is used?

yes, if you want to create a PGDcode that will translate into images, you can do so as long as you don't mark such code as "Image related" (available on the PGDCode design interface).
