ORIGINAL : pmouse SQL Version means the Access version will not be updated anymore? I personally like the access one cuz teh installation is easy... You are probably right. I won' t put new features in the Access version from now on until the SQL version is released. I personally don' t think Access can do much in terms of performance. The current state of the access version is very fast indeed, but compared to my SQL version, it is just " NOT RIGHT" (not only because of the driver and database difference, I actually spent quite some time implementing the correct paging algorithm/index combo). If I were going to add more features to Access, it would kill its performance (especially online status). The feature list you mentioned in another post are all standard features in my SQL version. Be sure to check back soon for more announcement. Thanks _____________________________ [image]image/mysig.gif[/image]

ORIGINAL : pmouse okie...but make sure it' s EASY to install It is extremely easy. In fact, it couldn' t be any easier, and probably easier than Access version. The only things you will need are: 1.Enterprise manager (or some kind of control panel from your isp that simulates the function of enterprise manager) to install database. 2.Ability to connect to SQL server by OLEDB or ODBC-DSN (it is needed anyway if you want to connect to a database) 3.correct MDAC version (2.6..standard version installed by all ISP' s) the above requirements are identical to those of the current Access version. If you can install Access version, you won' t have any trouble install my SQL. Thanks
