Hi Samuel, one thing that I could really use to help integrate my site with the forums would be procedures to display a small calendar with links to events and the ability to display the next X events or the events for the next X days.

I have a script that does this on my website, www.thesouthtown.com, but I would love to beable to do this with your calendar in my forums.

Another cool thing would be to display a random image from the gallery on the front page w/ optional parameters to note which category or with album to pull it from.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

yap, it would be interesting to have the ability to show random images from the gallery on our own sites.

currently, i have my site showing the most recent image from all pics, or from a gallery of my choice. seems to work real nice--keeps the site looking fresh.

Medit,

Your site is the envy of many of us . . .or, at least those like me who are struggling to learn how to do all the fancy things you accomplish!

Anyway, two questions:

1) Would it be Okay if I adapt some of your script to my site?
2) Would your script work on any site with ASP Forums as long as it is edited between the <--next section--> marks or would other changes need to be made?

Congrats on a great looking site. You make it seem easy.

thanks benjmann! i work hard to get the site exactly the way i want it to be. i'll post some updates to my mods in a couple of weeks--hopefully it'll be like plug-and-play. the <--next section--> marks don't really do much. it just helps me organize my code better. i had to change a bunch of forum files and also made my own SPs, so if you're cool with that, i won't mind showing you my code.

Cool!

I look forward to the plug and play version of your code. Thanks for so generously sharing with those of us who a little less technical.

The Best to You!!
