Retrieving messages using SIP

What kind of functionality do I get using the SIP for retrieving messages? Specifically, could I use the SIP to integrate search results from the forum with other sources?

    The SIP can allow you to get messages:
    • from forums to retrieve the messages;
    • FAQ's only;
    • Polls only;
    • Time frame to retrieve messages from;
    • how many messages to retrieve, and
    • set the chronological order of messages
    And no, it does not let you integrate search results in this version.
