Question about upgrade.

Samuel, Hey it' s me again and I am ready to upgrade my 1.7 forum to your new 1.82.20 forum... Can you tell me if there are any set backs I may run into when doing the conversion. I think you had one other released after mine that I did not do! Do I need to do it first? Thanks, Sean

Hi MCane, Don' t worry about this. You can download the 1.82 version from the Member download area. The file from the download area can upgrade your 1.7 to 1.82 directly. Just make sure you follow the instruction in our private " upgrade" forum . Thanks

Samuel, It sais I must goto 8.10 first... Is that true? What about saving off all my db stuff like dynamic headers and footers, will I need to do that or does the conversion script not affect that stuff? Thanks, MCane

No, like I said in my last message, you can convert the software into 1.82 directly. In your case, you just follow the upgrade instruction in 1.80 except for the line which says " you need to upgrade to 1.80 first" , and apply the sql script + overwrite all the ASP scripts. If you are using Dynamic Header (from the admin panel), then nothing will be lost. Thank you
