Print Topic Feature

Hey Samuel, I just thought of another feature to add, the Print Topic Feature. It is just a pop up window that displays the topic in an easily printable format. It' s easy to do for the Flat View, but I' m not sure what you would do for the Tree View.

Printable version is actually very easy to do. we left that one out because in a survey we did last November, no one seems to be interested in that feature. I know some forums have equipped with this feature, but (maybe I am wrong) no one seems to really use it. Are you gonna use it, Mike? I can put it in our 1.38.09 The printable version for tree is gonna leave out all messages but the one the person is viewing. The printable for flat is gonna print out the current page, not all pages at once.

Yes, i would use it, I think that it is a very useful feature. I' m surprised that some of your corporate clients haven' t suggested it yet.

In fact, stella V and regent did suggest it. But they didn' t mention it to be an urgent request.

I haven' t finished it yet, but I think most of the message information will be there. subject, messages, date, and name. _____________________________ Samuel Chou Forum Administrator ASPPlayground.NET Developer

I have the adobe program so I can create files in pdf format.. you can go to www.adobe.com to see a program called Acrobat..not the reader.
