Suggestions in Private Messaging, forgive me if they' ve already been covered by others:

1) When you click " Reply" it would be nice to at least have the option to reply to all the people who were included in the original post. I' m thinking of the " Report Abuse" PMs I get (more on that later). When I reply, I have to copy and paste the names from the original PM so that the moderators see someone has replied to it.

2) Can you make it an option in the main forum setup or in the individual user' s profile whether to default to copy all sent PMs to the user' s " sent" folder? I almost always forget to check that box. I know I can modify this easily, just thought others might have the same issue.

2) When you create the PM for " Report Abuse" , could you make the offending post a hyperlink? Currently is just appears as text and I have to copy and paste it into a browser address bar to actually see it (okay, I' m lazy ).

3) Make a check box option in each forum setup to determine whether " Admin" should be copied on abuse PMs. If a moderator wants to elevate it to my attention, so be it, but they should be able to handle most of the issues on their own.

Thanks!

Gene

    This is a real good one. I will add another button " Reply All" in our next version

    2) Can you make it an option in the main forum setup or in the individual user' s profile whether to default to copy all sent PMs to the user' s " sent" folder? I almost always forget to check that box. I know I can modify this easily, just thought others might have the same issue.

    Unchecked " Save a copy" is a way to minimize database disk waste. Originally when I designed this feature (from way back) I want to make it less disk space intensive, and I only want users who really wish to save a copy to check the box. No problem, I will make it member editible in the next version

    It is already a link..Maybe it is not on your forum because of the modification you made to the PGDCode ??

    3) Make a check box option in each forum setup to determine whether " Admin" should be copied on abuse PMs. If a moderator wants to elevate it to my attention, so be it, but they should be able to handle most of the issues on their own.

    Sounds like a lot of people are abusing your forum Sure, it will be an option in the next version too!

      Thanks for considering these.

      You' re probably right about this , can you give me a hint as to which ASP file to check (or is it it pgdcode.js)?

      Thanks!

        yes, pgdcode.js

        Look at this line

        sbody = AutoLink(sbody, " link" );

        And you may want to see what is interfering with the AutoLink function.
