Overall winner

I would say this forum is way better than all forums I tested.

Pros:
1) customization is easy
2) good use of storedProc
3) can do thread
4) search is very powerful. gets you to the message, not just the topic
5) poll is cool. admin can see who votes what
6) nice to have the very interesting icons. never seen anywhere else and very good

Cons:
1) very few comments on code inside (well not a real con, but good if you can comment more-> I am ASP challenged)
2) SQL 2000 required. expensive hosting requirements.

Feature wishlist:
1) all the feature you promised in the roadmap
2) import utility from other forums (crappy snitz)
3) message deletion utility based on member or date or both
4) dynamic signature - > not stored in post, but a dynamic one.

Do as I say, not as I do

The Message Deletion utility would be an excellent addition. I' ve had problems in forums before where members will sign up just for malicious intent and just spam the place with porn and other nonsense. It would be nice to have a feature were all of those posts could be deleted at once.

Actually the ASP code is written in a very straight-forward manner. I leave out comments in some places because I do not want users to alter the codes (for security and other reasons ), but as you can see, the search function and in some other places I have detailed comments.

SQL host was expensive before, but not now. You can do a search and find very cheap SQL hosts. I am using terrasite, and I believe their packages are a lot cheaper than some of the Access only hosting package
