We are currently using these feature in forum when we switch to aspplayground forum we want to keep using. We are using this one for off topic forums and testing forums. This is why using because some people want to have big post numbers for only added coolness factor. It causes our forums to be unwanted growth in db. From our looking angel in a Hardware forum "Off topic" forums mustn't be increase posts. Also we use this for orientation for effect to activeness on some forums some times. here is quote from the Snitz help file ; Increase Post Count This option allows you to select whether a Member's Post Count will increase when they make a post in this forum.

Samuel please say something about this feature, our users are complaining about not to having this feature. Without this feature some newbie's started to post no hardware forums for just gaining ranks. So our order is out of order. You know it is also not very logical to hardware forum users to get ranks from only off topic forums. Please if you not include this feature to 2.4.2 please include to 3.0 . Or guide us, how to enable it by easy way. I can release as a mod than.

Yes, this feature will be available in version 3.0. From now on, all suggestions posted here will be feature candidates for version 3.0, and unless the features seem urgent, I won't add them into version 2.4.x. All 2.4.x version will be maintenance updates. If you want to make it into the software now, you can do so by writing a User-definied function in SQL server to handle it (hard code the forumid's in a UDF function). The post count increasing/decreasing logics are written in 3 stored procs, spPost, spReply, and spDelete, and you can replace the simple SQL statement with an UDF call.
