New posts only show one thread title for new...

When clicking new posts button it would be favorable for it to function as follows:

Show only one listing for a thread whether it has 1 new post in it since last visit or 1000. They would be ordered by the last post. One would click the thread title and be taken to the first new post since they last read it or their last visit at least.

I don't know if this was slated for 2.1.5 already and if so sorry for suggesting it again.

This behaviour would make it easier on users so if there are only 10 threads since their last visit which contain replies but each of those threads contains 50 replies the users will only see 10 thread titles listed and can click each one to get to the newest post. This is in contrast to seeing 10 threads x 50 replies = 500 new posts on the new posts page.

Also the paging select menu at the bottom of the page should be dropped in favor of the more user friendly:

there is an option for this in the admin control panel to show threads only. Look for it more carefully

Yes...but when you set it this way to "threads" and then click the thread title it takes you to the first post in the thread rather than the newest unread post. Is this a bug? This is why I had it set to posts because in threads with dozens or hundreds of posts in them it was useless setting it to the "thread" option

sir, you never bothered to see my feature list for 2.1.5. It will be available in 2.1.5, along with most of your suggestions.

We are running 2.4.5 ANSI and it still takes you to the first post in the thread.. any ideas?
