Manual Subscription

I hope this has not been suggested before, in which case I apoligise.

However, It would be nice if a Manual Subscription mechanism was implemented. I imagine it would work like this:

A new user fills the registration form. An email is sent automatically to the administrator, or even juts a specific user just devoted to that. He/She reviews the form, and if he/she decides to accept the subscription request he/she clicks on a link in the email that enables the user. At that point, the requesting user receives an email saying he/she has been accepted in the forum.

Additionally, the admin may click on a different link where he/she could type a reason for the rejection to be emailed to the requesting user automatically.

Or, of course, simply disregard the request.

Also, it would be great if the reg form could be customized by adding extra fields and making them (optionally) required or simply optional.

Manual subscription is already available. Administrator will receive a letter and can approve the application or just disregard it. Upon approval the applicant will receive a letter too

You can customize the registration field, as it is not retricted. Please review our license agreement for more details.
