Looking to Switch, Need Advice

Hello, I run a small community of new moms currently on Proboards.com. I dislike that my members' posts belong to Proboards and I'd like to switch before more members start joining. I have ZERO ASP or SQL or programming experience, but do fine with well written instructions. I have looked over your Install Instructions and they are way over my head. :) That being said, I would like to know - 1/ Are there hosting recommendations posted somewhere that I may have overlooked? I do recognize the server requirements, but am wondering if there are any hosts you'd recommend. Do I need "x" amount of hosting space? 2/ My members really want a way to track what they've read. Proboards doesn't offer this without other coding (I assume). Does ASP Playground offer this by default? 3/ A silly question - but are the smilies customizable? I appreciate your help in advance!

Hi, Let me answer your questions one by one: - I do not recommend any host. However, Crystaltech has been quite good.
- Yes. Once you are logged in, you can track what thread you read.
- Yes.
We also offer installation service for 85 dollars if you need it.

Thank you Samuel! I would likely utilize the installation service - how easy is it to customize the forum once it's installed? I think I read there was an admin panel? Is that pretty user-friendly? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, You can take a look at the admin control panel on the demo forum. To customize the software, you will work with Master Pages (ASP.NET feature; for adding header/footer to the software) and CSS.
