Link to deleted post

I' m not sure if this is in the latest update. When I use the " thread management" toolbox to move a topic to another forum the link to the deleted message remains on the default.asp page. If anyone clicks the link they get the " message deleted or moved" error message. It would make more sense for the link to go to the new message in the new forum instead.

Just curious if you also checked the box that reads " Leave a Trace in the Original Forum" .

The default page is generated with cache and will only be updated if there is a new post in the forum. This shouldn' t be a problem since once there is a new message in that forum, the link on the default page will be replaced immediately.

motox795 Yes: The link does not link even when the moved post is created. Samuel The cached page should be refreshed when a post is moved, otherwise the user will click on the link and will get the error. Or the moved post should appear as the latest topic on the new topic on the default page. At present, the topic appears on the old forum, but is not linked to the new forum. Very frustrating for admins and the user.
