That's interesting, but very extensive. New in version 3.0:: Less files (47 asp files in Links Manager 2, 4 in Links Manager 3) That's a lot of work for Samuel to do as an add-on. It would be pretty cool though.

Although Samuel has already spoken about this feature request, I would like to second the idea. The project that I am working on could certainly benefit from a feature such as this. Regardless of weather the functionality comes from the Forum or from a script that I design into the web site, I think my users would like to have this available to them. I will have to add this to my to-do list. If some one decides to work on a mod for this particular feature, I would be interested in following along. Though I personally will integrate this into my web site it’s self, and not the forum. As I am new here, please excuse this question if I am ignorant of common knowledge. Is there a web site dedicated to ASP Playground mods? I am interested in seeing what some people are adding to the base functionality of this forum.

There is not a web site dedicated to mods, other than the mod forum. Though I personally will integrate this into my web site it’s self, and not the forum. I personally don't see the need to integrate link management system into the forum software either. You can try ASPIN.com or fuzzysoftware.com as there are a lot of link management related apps there.

I think the link option as sublink is already great Like http://forum.body-fitness.nl/forum/Links/forumid_17/tt.htm I still would like to see the option to hide forums/links from default.asp but further I can live with this way of linking.. I can make more subforums for different types of links in one link forum and fill it with the links

That would be a cool feature and would be a plus for value rate for software. These unique features are the key differences for end users. They don't mind tiny enhancements in every update. I think you that already cause of adding great features to your forum. Another software could give compatibility problems speed, security considerations and in all noting more than headache. Most of your customers is all ready having a forum before and just upgrading it. This kind a google friendly or high bookmark rate feature will be great plus. You know most of users go for door pages for their home pages. This feature is very is moderatable and don't need a special capability to continue for contend improvement day by day. Who doesn't wants a Link Manager for their site right trough forum for forum community. Also there isn't any good quality link manager in the market for asp. Just like the photo album situation had earlier. If you don't really want to add all after this please make a poll that only license holders could vote for final decision ?
