It took me 1/2 an our even with my own modified header...
I backed up de database
Zipped the forum files
upgraded the database
uploaded the new asp files
looked for the differences in code in header_footer.asp with Beyond Compare
inserted link voor My Forums
And everything is up and running

I just upgraded too! YES!

This batch import is a l i f e s a v e r for me! Uploading 330MB now.

At first I uploaded files then wondered what if I had duplicate file names (I do). That would be a bummer.

Then I saw 'from what FOLDER in upfiles/import'

I just select the entire folder and FTP'd it to upfiles/import.

I left the import screen then clicked back in and poof...there is the folder for me to pick from.

18 hours of tedius work just became 30 minutes. Woo-hoo!

Also added the My Forum link to my Dynamic header.

It's allows one to FTP images to the folder I mentioned.

Then, after one has FTP'd the images...you may go into the Photo Gallery Admin area...and you'll see [import] next to a Gallery if one exists.

Ya click Import and from a drop down menu you will be able to see the folder name that you uploaded, the number of pictures and how much disk space they take up.

You may create a new Album from that interface and just click Import and a couple seconds later the album is populated. [sm=tongue.gif]

On version 2.2 ya had to browse then double click for each image.

Now, it's all good.
