How tough to implement these features...

Ovusoft Custom Profile Settings- Countdowns

I notice she has a lot of cool mods. But I'd like to get a similar 'countdown' feature on my 2.1.5 forum.

I know how to use Enterprise manager to backup my database and that is about it.

I take it this would involve manually editing/adding tables and fields to the database?

Thing I worry about mods is when Samuel puts out a big update. The update would wipe out the modified database and would need to do over.

Maybe that's why they are on ASP Playground Forum SQL v1.82.20

They also have a custom chart and the ability to assign permissions to that chart.

The online difital counter is way cool too. They have good stuff is my point....and I want it too!

Samuel? Countdown feature? What do you say? It would be a very useful and neat feature. [sm=tongue.gif]

I will leave that for users who need this feature to create for themselves, simply because there is no standard for "countdown" and most communities don't need it.

Sorry, I actually never asked them yet. I'm also not sure just how much useful the info would be given they are running lower than version 2.

I had meant to stop by here but have been really busy lately. Thanks for reminding me.
