How scalable is it?

Who is the largest "proven" customer that is currently using ASP-PGD? I would like to see a live site that experiences very heavy forum traffic.

Hi Jordan, The following two are large forums with many active users and post/day RCUniverse: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/ Donanim Haber: http://forum.donanimhaber.com/default.asp The software (both ASP/ASP.NET versions) supports database based session management (independent from ASP.NET's state server/SQL server based session) which is compatible with web farm without data serialization/deserialization.
ASPPlayground.NET ~ see our Version 4 plans here

We do about 4000 posts per day and receive enormous traffic. We do use 3 front end load balanced servers but our backend dual xeon proc DB barely breaks a sweat. We use the 3 front end's for redundnancy. I'm not sure what sort of processor usage we would see on them running the entire application and db on one server but overall the scalability of aspg is better than VB IMHO. We have 150,000 registered members at RCU and grow about 6000+ per month.

We do have more than 10000 post per day and roughly 0.25 million pages a day. We do see 1250 different ip's in last 20 min and more than thousand connections/sec. We all do that with only single cpu 3 Ghz xeon server (web) and a dual cpu Opteron 240 server (db). Search is the key feature of this forum. You can find every word in more than 2 million post below a second. IMHO if your forum has less traffic than ours you can solve problem like us or more price wise only one Dual Opteron 248 server are enough for everything.
