How forum permissions work?

This software looks interesting, it's near the top of my list.

I saw a screen where a user can deselect forums he doesn't want to see.

But does it work the other way, and are their groups.  I.e.

1. Can I as the admin say that you belong to a predefined group, thus you get all their forums?

2. Thus if I add a new forum and make it part of a group, all those users get it?

3. Are some forums simply available to all, regardless of group?

4. Can one user be in more than one group, having access to each of the forums specified in each group?

Documents for admins are inside the admin control panel (a link on the top left corner). You can try the demo and go into the admin CP for detailed info. A more detailed pdf documents will be available later.

Let me answer your questions one by one:

1. Yes. You can set up user groups and give them special permission over forums. Once a user belongs to a group, he will have the permission you assigned to the groups (private forums are hidden to anyone except those groups you specifically allowed).
