A few members asked this question: How do I change the restriction of user' s picture dimension?
It is simple and can be changed in admin panel.
under
basic configuration, there is a field called
Name field Width.
Name field width takes numerical value (in pixels), and it is the width for the table cell that displays user information beside user' s post (user name, post count for user, user title with picture, location, etc.). And the avatar dimension limit is the value you enter here - 5 pixels (both width and height).
So, if you specify 150 here, avatar dimension limit will be 145 by 145. This is to prevent uploaded avatars from disrupting message display.
(This value - 5) * 2 is the dimension limit for user profile photo (both width and height).
NOTE: If the uploaded image' s dimension exceeds the limit set here, you will get the following error message from the " upload" interface:
There was an error saving the file to disk. Normally you wouldn' t want to enter a number bigger than 200.
