Maybe it's the way my forum and this Forum is configured.
While I like clicking on 'Posts since last visit' to see all the new posts...
I'd like to have the option of viewing 'Threads with new posts since last visit' and a click on the thread will take me to the post ID which is the 1st unread post in that thread.
Vbulletin shows new posts as threads. You click on a thread and in top left colum is 'Go to first unread post' and poof...I can start to read where I left off.
I recall a setting in Admin about 'view new threads only' but not sure what that was for.
Example is this forum. I always use 'Posts since last visit' and there are usually multiple new posts within the same thread.
The display would just seem much more clean to me to show just the thread which contains the new post and be able to go straight to the last unread new post ID #.
If we have this option and I missed it- let me know.
