As you closed version 3.0 suggestion forum reviewing I have to make suggestion here.
Fusetalk is a very old forum software and now at last it is integrated new features, in new version 3.0 . But it is still far beyond your features. I am just pasting the new features that our current version don't ;
Built in blogger - blogging support within the product

Keyword notification - You'll be able to get emails or topic lists as soon as their posted, that match your interest.
my note: don't time to daily visit, just interests, maybe moderated keyword entry for performance
XHTML - FuseTalk 3.0 will be XHTML 1.0 compliant. Along with a new skinning format.
my note: Maybe light version should be XHTML compliant for mobile devices
Automatic Moderation - If a users rating gets to a certain level you can automatically ban them
my note: Why not Wiki given all moderation to users, forum should to, also threads must have these feature
Knowledge Base - We'll be including knowledge base functionality in Fuse Talk 3 to mine important content.
my note: FaQ tags are not enough, Knowledge Base should be work like FAQ system without moving the original thread just mirroring at different location
CMS tag - we've included a cms custom tag that allows you to extract topics from categories you choose to display on your website
my note:Mirroring or using same content is a great feature, I want to have this for articles posted on blogs. For using those on forums knowledge base system, and main page news system.
