First Thoughts

OK, so I've had a few days to play. Overall the forum seems to work well and was pretty easy to set up, once I got the DB string correctly sorted !! A few things I'd like to see implemented / changed in future versions. - Ability to change default theme from Admin CP
- Ability to remove users option of changing themes, again from in Admin CP
- The 'Post New Thread' popup seems uneccesarily large - it could be half the size.
- Do we really need a tick box for signature? If users have a signature then simply attach it to every message.
- Would be nice to have a Post Message button right under the main text box.
- Allow users to View / Not view other users signatures in threads via a setting in UserCP
- When disabling all calendars via AdminCP then the calendar option should not be available in main menu system - or am I missing something here ?
- I'm not overly keen on the current menu system, though I guess that is mostly down to the visual look rather than functionality.
- Replace the default avatar frame (see left) with a 1px transparent gif
- Run a spell check on all your pages please
That's all for now, keep up the good work, I think this is a great .NET forum but has plenty of room to be even better. Moving more features into the AdminCP would be a BIG step forward !!

I would not change post new thread popup and make smaller. size is fine. people need room to post long posts without scrolling I agree with #7. I'd also let the user control spell check because some user google toolbar for spell check or IE spell so make internal spellcheck an option. this would require disabling the right click menu of aspg for google users.

thanks Miles for your comments. I will think about the suggestion about themes. Regarding 4: the feature already exists in the user cp. It is under Preferences -> Speed Options. Regarding 5: if you disable calendars (there is a button there in the admin CP), the menu item will be hidden Regarding 7: you can easily change this by either 1) replacing the image with the same name 2) change the template to show a different image
