Feedback and Suggestion

I am currently running two forums (2.5.5 and 3.6) and both work great.  I am very pleased with the support and sophistication of the code. If there is one suggestion I'd like to make is to provide admin via the cp the ability to use a registered user's first and last name in place of their username globally.  For that matter, the ability to use other parts of the personal info gathered via the registration form as well...
 
I have read through the numerous posts and tried to piece together the myriad of ways to replace the username with the first and last name and have been unsuccessful.  Maybe it is because the username cannot easily be substituted on a global basis.  Anyway, making this easy for a non programmer/developer like myself would be a great addition.  Thanks again.
