Feature Suggestion: Inline attachments as thumbnails

On my own forum I hacked in a feature so all images when uploaded are thumbnailed. When other users go to view posts they view a 100wide thumbnail of the full size image. They can click on the thumbnail to see the full size image. This feature has been a HUGE hit with the 56k modem users. It saves bandwidth, speeds page loading times. You could have a user control panel option whereas a user could turn it on or off depending on their bandwidth connection. Or you could make it so the admin can force thumbnails or full size images on the users.

With your new image gallery coming online I would imagine you have the classes which would allow such thumbnailing to be done.

Good suggestion! I will probably add this feature along with the image gallery in version 2.2. It will use .NET code to thumbnail pics.
