[Feature Request] Display names.

I would like to see the users have a Display name option. Currently the users' dislpay name is set to the login name.

you mean in combination with AD log on? Because else I can't see any advantage. I have seen forums where you have to log on with email address and where members have an other nick-/displayname on the forum

I have seen forums where you have to log on with email address and where members have an other nick-/displayname on the forum
with or without AD logon. The message board system I replaced with this one used to allow users to have a seperate display name from there login name and users liked it. Take example here, I have to use my login of Eagle_f90 as my display name, but if I could change it to be seperate form my display name I could have it Matthew or just Eagle.

Thanks for the suggestion, Eagle. This feature will likely be available in our next major version, but not within 3.x.
