Description of Installation Services

I would like to purchase both the latest advanced version of the software as well as the professional installation services.

I actually have version 2 running on my dev site but the person who did the install job didn't do it very well and I just want to start from scratch making sure everything is running legit and smoothly.

Can you give me a better description of how the Pro Install process works? Currently the integration the last developer did would add people who registered to the site directly to the messageboard and that was fine, but at this point, the messageboard got really messed up and now it no longer even loads... I just get the error: Argument 'Start' must be greater than zero. when I try to do anything.

Can the install pro from your company wipe out the old install, create a new one, and hook up my registration so it automatically creates messageboard accounts?

Also, i'm not extremely technical, but I notice you ask for FTP access. When I set that up do I need to point it to any specific folder? Does it matter?

The installation process requires access to your web server as well as database server. Web server access is connected through FTP, and database through a valid account with the following information:

SQL server IP
database name
database username
database password

About FTP: yes, you need to make sure that when you give me an account, that account can see and upload files to the forum folder on your web server.

And I will install the software on your site by uploading files to your web server, and then run a SQL script to install the database object. Then I will initialize the database and configure some of the basic aspects of the software so that you can start working on it (adding forums, galleries, etc.).

I can wipe out the old installation with the basic installation service, but to hook up registration I will need to examine how he did it, and will require an additional unit of installation service to complete the task.
