Default theme other than Classic?

I have downloaded and installed the Hestia theme, and i'm getting some weird results.
 
Originally I had 'Classic' as the only visible theme, but after adding Hestia i deactivated 'classic', so now in the Admin Control Panel I have 'Hestia' set as the only visible theme.
 
Results:
 
(i) If I visit my forum (http://www.labelcity.com/forum) as a guest, I see the 'classic' theme.
(ii) If i login as a normal user I still only see the 'classic' theme.
(iii) If I login as the admin I see the Hestia theme.
 
Any tips on where I've gone wrong?
 

You need to make sure you set the Hestia theme as the default theme in the web.config file. Look for:

<add key="DefaultTheme" value="Classic" />

HELLO JULIA HERE In the 'Classic' theme, text is darker and stands out more against the white background.  Additionally the border that runs around the body of the page is lighter.  It does its job, separating the dynamic content of the view from the static menus and gets out of the way.  Since this border isn't directly useful, it should be subtle, deferring attention the content.

You should not delete or modify the default theme. As new versions are released, changes may be made to, for example, some interface in the administration center.
