I have been a member of Locogringo.com for a few years. Recently they put their forums on a separate server using, I believe, the ASP.PLAYGROUND.NET program. Initially there were considerable configuration problems which have for the most part been rectified.
 
I can connect to Locogringo.com and I can move around in their site with no problems. However, when I click the Forums button I get an HTTP 500 error message. I have been working with the Locogringo administrators for about 2 weeks trying to resolve this problem. They keep telling me to enable cookies, clear my temp internet cache, etc. etc. I keep sending them print screens of the error message I get which indicate a problem with their new server configuration. I am by no means a PC expert but my job requires me to be on a PC for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. I am by no means computer illiterate. I have followed all of their suggestions, and then some, to rectify the problem to no avail. I maintain they have a problem with their new server configuration but they seem to think the problem is at my end. I have tried to connect with my desktop and laptop but get the same error message.
 
It is my understanding that some other Locogringo members are having the same problem.
 
Does anyone have a definitive solution or at least a hesitant suggestion?

Hi Frustrated,

After reading your report, I still have no idea what's going on. I never received any report from the admin of the said site. "Server problems" can mean either Windows Server problems or forum software problems, and without any detail it is hard for me to even provide you a suggestion.

How about a screenshot or two? You cannot upload them here, but you can send them to my address at support@ my domain.

Actually I have been in touch with you to trouble shoot this specific problem the above guest is having. My member name is locogringo therefore I did not feel the need to publicise our URL in my original post. This is the thread of our conversation in the next forum down. Unfortunately I can not get into your support forums when logged in. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for a fix.
