Can the forum software be configured to auto login a member? Our site already has a login facility and it is awkward if the logged in user has to re-login to the forum.
 
Also is it posible to prevent logged in users from changing thier forum login details i.e. hide to user control panel

yes, we have a facility to allow external to the forum with our Site Integration Package

If you already have a user db, you need to import them into our software first
http://www.aspplayground.net/forum/m_373880/tm.htm . This message also tells you how to import newly registered user into our forum.

Login details: by default, we don't allow login name change. For password change, you can remove the file that is used to change password (passchange.aspx / passchange.asp).
